Description |
Carolyn Hague was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1947. She graduated from high school in 1965 in Florida and attended Florida State University, the University of Florida, and eventually graduated with a BA in art from West Virginia University at Morgantown in 1972. Many of her works incorporate transparent colors, allowing layered colors to mix, visually. This technique allows for richer colors and for the audience to engage with the work in order to understand how the colors have been layered together to achieve the final product. |
