Description |
George Segal was an American sculptor and painter born in New York in 1924. He is associated with the Pop Art movement. He attended Pratt, Cooper Union, and New York University where he was able to further his art education and received a teaching degree in 1949. He joined the 10th St scene, painting and concentrating on expressionist, and figurative, themes. |
