Description |
Riffle received his BA from West Virginia State College. His work in multiple media is suffused with a strong sense of place, namely, that of West Virginia. He often includes images of the natural world in a fantasy setting; recently, he has been creating reliet portrait paintings of loved ones, including this one of his daughter and her pet frog. During the pandemic, Riffle reflected on family and made work ruminating on being apart and together in such a stressful time. |
